Mitchel Zavala, the new owner of LED Capstone, said "I could not have found a better company to join and continue its great success; it is very exciting to be part of this community."

A bit of my background: I have a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering.

We are a family of 5. We have two boys and a girl.

My wife Teresa and I came to the US in 1992 at a young age looking for new opportunities.

We moved to Connecticut and created a Transportation Company where I served as President. In March of 2020, when COVID impacted the US, my business drastically dropped. I realized that I had to adapt and seek another business opportunity.

My wife and I love the beach and have planned for many years to move to a warm place closer to the beach, so we started to look for a business opportunity here in Florida. We wanted to find a business related to my background, which is my passion, that I never truly was able to pursue.

It took us one year to find the right opportunity. We visited several businesses in Cape Coral, Naples, Hialeah, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs and Jacksonville but none of them were the right fit.

It was not until we visited LED Capstone in Vero Beach where we felt the connection instantly. It was not only the business that we felt the connection with but the city itself, the people, the beaches, everything… we just fell in love with it all.

Another key aspect for us was finding the right school for our 16-year-old daughter in order to have the best education. We visited a few schools, but she fell in love with St. Edwards School where she now has the pleasure to be attending. She is very happy, and her new friends make her feel very welcomed.

We are so thrilled to be living here and starting this new chapter of our lives. LED Capstone and Vero Beach are very special to our family. We feel very fortunate for this opportunity.
